Chris Power’s debut is Mothers, a collection of short stories. His fiction has appeared in the White Review, the Dublin Review and the Stinging Fly. His non-fiction series, A Brief Survey of the Short Story has been appearing in the Guardian since 2007. He writes about books and other things for that paper, the New Statesman, and elsewhere. He has judged the Frank O’Connor International prize, the Edge Hill prize and the Galley Beggar prize. He lives in London.
