Simon lives just outside Brighton with his very patient family who eventually got sick of him moaning about working in finance and told him to shut up and write. A lot of years later, his first novel, Nicked – the story of a junior jewel thief – is the result.
He loves Marvel, Alex Rider, Terry Pratchett, Blade Runner and all things escapist. He hates spreadsheets, ERP systems and pension regulations.
He once won a prize for his play Hunting for Dragons and has a lot of fun each year writing a pantomime for his local Amateur Dramatic society. Because nothing sounds better than kids laughing at terrible jokes.
