A.T. Brown grew up in the UK and studied History, Politics, and Philosophy. After graduating, he started his career with the European Commission in Brussels before returning to London to work in business intelligence.

He is now based in Mauritius, where he balances his time between consultancy work and his passion for writing. His first novel, a thriller, was inspired by his love of history, politics and travel. He lives by the sea with his wife, two children, and a dachshund named Maggie.
