Nicholas grew up in Macclesfield, Cheshire. After graduating in 2010 with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he worked for several years as a Management Consultant in London. He now lives in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
His short story, ‘It is Summer at Camp Pomodoro’, was longlisted for the 2019 Sunday Times Audible Short Story Award and the Galley Beggar Press Short Story Prize. His short fiction has also won third place in The London Magazine Short Story Prize and has been published in The Moth, Litro, and both the Bristol and Bath Short Story Award anthologies.
Badger is his first novel.
