We always welcome new clients at Eve White Literary Agency. We are looking for fiction and nonfiction and accept submissions from anywhere in the world as long as the manuscript is written in a form of English.

We consider everything that comes in and meets our guidelines, and we are proud that all submissions are read by experienced professionals without the use of AI.

We do not accept covering letters, proposals, synopses or manuscripts written using generative AI.

We aim to reply to all submissions within one week of receipt.

We are currently accepting all fiction and nonfiction aimed at adults except for any ghostwritten work.

As of 1st July 2026, we are not accepting any submissions for children’s books.

If you submit a children’s book or a ghostwritten work, we will unfortunately be unable to read it.

Please read through our guidelines carefully before sending your manuscript.

Please note we only accept submissions via email. Postal submissions will not be read, responded to or returned.

Our readers Nicky (fiction) and Pippa (non-fiction) are the first to consider submissions for all of our agents. You can find our agent profiles here: Eve White, Ludo Cinelli and Steven Evans. You can address your submission to either the relevant reader or a particular agent but, in any case, please only send your submission to one of the email addresses listed below.

How to submit fiction:

Write a full covering email including the word count of your book. For more information on how to write a covering email, see our FAQ.

Prepare ONE attachment in Word format (or, if you’re unable to, in PDF)—named “[Book Title] – [Your Name]”—which includes:

• the three opening chapters, or an equivalent writing sample for your particular format (double line spaced).
• a brief synopsis of the whole plot including spoilers (no more than one page).

We prefer synopses to be written in prose, however we understand that for some writers this may be challenging, in which case we can accept a one-page synopsis in bullet points.

How to submit non-fiction

Write a full covering email including the final or projected word count of your book. For more information on how to write a covering email, see our FAQ.

Prepare the following attachments in Word format (or, if you’re unable to, in PDF):

• 1. A full book proposal including some sample writing (for details on what a proposal is, see our FAQ)— named “[Book Title] – Proposal – [Your Name]”
  2. Your CV—named “CV – [Your Name]”
