Ruth Warburton, author of the Winter trilogy, will take part in the UK’s first ever Young Adult Literature Convention curated by Children’s Laureate Malorie Blackman…

… Warburton, whose latest book Witch Finder was released in January (2014), will be reading alongside some of the most prominent names in Young Adult fiction, including Sally Green, Patrick Ness and James Dawson.

2014’s YALC event (12th – 13th July) will be a key part of Malorie’s wider campaign to champion books for young people. The event will aim to showcase UKYA’s best books and authors, as well as bringing international authors to UK audiences.
