The Times has selected the Christmas-themed crime short story anthology Afraid of the Christmas Lights, which features a story by Rachael Blok, in its article “The Best Crime Fiction for December.”

“An anthology of stories showing that the festive season in many homes has to be endured rather than enjoyed [. . .] contributors include Sophie Hannah, Rachael Blok, Harriet Tyce and Mark Billingham.” See the full piece here (paywall).
