Amelia Blackwell—author of the brilliant new reimagining of Jane Austen’s Georgiana Darcy, A Crime Through Time—has been featured in an exclusive interview with Trip Fiction for their ‘Talking Location With…’ series.

In the article, Amelia talks about how a rainy week of high school work experience inspired and laid the groundwork for her novel.

She speaks about how she completed her work experience at Saltram House while Ang Lee’s adaptation of Sense and Sensibility was being filmed the same location, and how she drew direct inspiration from the landscape to provide the core of pivotal scenes in A Crime Through Time.
