Fourteen year-old Archie always thought picking locks was more interesting than homework.

But when his policeman dad is arrested and a fabulous diamond necklace goes missing, Archie is forced to use everything he has learned to go after the villains himself.

Following the criminal trail leads Archie into high-security vaults, through midnight raids on country mansions and across the playing fields of an exclusive public school. He has to use all his tricks, and help from Bunny, the daughter of a notorious criminal fixer, to stay one step ahead.
