Paul Cooper has struck an exciting deal with Bloomsbury with his debut novel River Of Ink. Set in thirteenth century Sri Lanka, it tells the story of Asanka, poet to the king, ..… who is commissioned to translate an epic poem in an attempt to bring unity to two cultures.
Paul graduated from the University of Warwick in 2011 and then spent most of the next year travelling and teaching in Sri Lanka before returning to the UK to study the Creative Writing MA at UEA.
River of Ink is due to published in Summer 2015.
