Kara Lebihan, author of the recently published Mrs Vickers’ Knickers, has done an online interview with Beijing Kids. The author discusses her inspiration for the story, her love of writing and how she juggles the many demands of her busy life…

…As well as discussing the release of her picture book, Kara talks about how she develops exciting new stories as her ‘ideas come from nowhere’. She also reveals that the original idea for Mrs Vicker’s Knickers involved the journey of an abandoned sock, and how this later changed because ‘socks are nowhere near as funny as knickers‘.
