The “poo bus” is no longer simply a figment of Andy Stanton’s hilarious imagination. It’s a real thing!…

…The Telegraph revealed ‘Britain’s first bus powered by human waste is taking to the streets…The 40-seater “Bio-Bus” is fuelled by biomethane gas generated by the treatment of sewage and food waste at a processing plant’.

Although the real bus sounds less appealing than it looks, fans of Andy’s picture book Here Comes the Poo Bus will remember the bus as it was originally and revoltingly imagined – a lot less green and clean!
