It has just been announced that Andy Stanton‘s You’re a Bad Man, Mr Gum! has been shortlisted for The Red House Book Award. The award ceremony will take place at The Hay Festival (February 2007). The book was also nominated for the Sheffield Book Award 2007 in the Shorter Novel category. Children are the judges, spending their Spring and Summer reading, reviewing and voting from the shortlist for the winner to be announced in November
