Anushka Fernando, author of Happy Dog Days at the Pug Cafe has written a feature for Woman’s Own magazine about her successful pop-up Pug Cafe business.

“Sitting in a cafe with Bertie one rainy day, I was chatting to the owner when I suddenly thought about a pop-up pug cafe. James loved the idea, too, so we advertised on social media and held our first event in May 2017. It was unbelievable: more than 200 pugs from all over the UK visited the cafe throughout the day. They even queued outside to get in.”
