…Melissa calls the text a ‘warmhearted tale’ with ‘witty rhyming’. In particular she mentions the humour in ‘Granny’s helpful, but atypical way of coming to her grandaughter’s rescue’.

Joe Berger also garners praise for his illustrations which Melissa says create ‘electric visual details’. She finishes by recommending the book as ‘an amusing intergenerational read aloud that will make an entertaining edition to Halloween and Grandparents’ day story times.
