When you’re a pirate girl like Lil, there’s nothing worse than having to go to school and pretend to be ordinary. But one day a mysterious piece of paper with the Sign of the Skull lands on Lil’s desk, and she realises the villainous Captain Stinkbeard is nearby. Lil and her pet parrot have to somehow foil Stinkbeard’s plot to kidnap Lil’s teacher, but it’s not easy battling bad pirates when you’re supposed to be sitting quietly in a classroom.
