Fran Harlow and Ellie McKenna are sisters (and best friends) born a year and a day apart in their hometown of Sheffield.

Fran has two grown-up sons—Mack and Manny—and lives in Berkshire.  She works as an Associate Creative Director for an advertising agency in Central London.  When she’s not writing she loves going to the theatre, hiking and travelling.

Ellie is the younger sister.  She has been an Art Director, Graphic Designer and the in-house designer for Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck restaurant. She has a grown-up son and daughter—Louis and Leo. She now lives in Kent where she loves to garden, paint and draw.
