IF YOUR GRANNY WERE A LITTLE BIT, WELL, DIFFERENT FROM OTHER GRANNIES, WOULD YOU WANT TO CHANGE HER … OR WOULD YOU END UP THINKING YOU LOVE HER JUST THE WAY SHE IS?
If your granny were a little bit, well, different from other grannies, would you want to change her … or would you end up thinking you love her just the way she is?
In this funny rhyming story, a little girl whose granny is (whisper it) a witch, gets fed up with dealing with the problems she creates, so tries to ‘help’ her to change. But will her nice, new ‘normalish’ granny be happy, or bored and boring? Maybe it’s more fun to cook up some gloop with Granny’s witchy friends after all…
Granny’s kind-of different. She wears these funny hats. She’s got this huge menagerie of frogs and toads and bats! She takes them to the cinema. They take her to the zoo… But - somehow - everywhere they go, they never need to queue! Granny’s kind-of different. She cooks this soupy stuff. I swear she uses slime and sludge and belly button fluff! I beg her for fish fingers, but Granny shakes her head… “Oh yuck!” she cries. “How horrible! Here - drink some gloop instead!”
