Yvvette Edwards, author of the heart-wrenching novel The Mother and the Man Booker-longlisted A Cupboard Full of Coats, will be taking part in a ‘Meet the Mentor’ event as part of the National Centre for Writing’s Escalator programme.

The event will take place at Ipswich County Library from 11am-1pm on Saturday 19th August and will give authors the chance to meet Yvvette, one of the Escalator mentors, and try their hand at a writing exercise, before asking questions during a friendly Q&A session with the NCW team.
