Saskia Sarginson, author of the best-seller The Twins, has spoken to East Anglian Daily Times about being a published author and her latest book Without You.

When asked about the best thing to…

…have happened to her this year, she said, “knowing I can continue to write fiction as my job is the best thing of all.”

With respect to the darkness in Without You, Saskia said, “It isn’t what you’d call a typical kidnap book…It’s about relationships, identity and love… there is plenty of light in there too.”

Saskia also speaks about how the roller-coaster of having identical twins inspired her to write The Twins.

Both books are set in Suffolk, because having grown up there, “Suffolk is imprinted on” her “psyche.”

When asked what she hopes for in the future, Saskia said, “I’ve only ever wanted to tell stories. I’d feel privileged and blessed if I could continue to do that.”

Saskia is currently working on her new novel The Other Me which will be released August 2015.
