Rachael Blok‘s gripping thriller Into the Fire has been chosen as a top paperback pick by the Sunday Express and as a book of the month by LoveReading.

In his review for the Sunday Express, Jake Kerridge writes:

“DCI Maarten Jansen, a Dutch-born detective in St Albans, heads to the launch of a new reality game in a grand but decrepit country mansion after one of the guests receives death threats. Tensions between the investors boil over and the gathering descends into deadly chaos. The busy plot takes in issues from environmental activism to modern day slavery, giving a welcome dark edge to a breezily entertaining mystery.”

Into the Fire is out now. Grab your copy here or, better, via your local bookshop or Bookshop.org.
