Rachael Mortimer launched her latest book, Jack and Jelly Bean Stalk, at Ottie and the Bea.  During the event, there was a competition for children to invent their own jelly bean flavour…

…with the entries being displayed on a beanstalk in the bookshop. Rachael will be judging the competition and awarding prizes at the end of the month.

Jack and the Jelly Bean Stalk is a fun, light-hearted twist on the Jack and Beanstalk fairy tale. When Jack sells his cow for jelly beans, his mum is furious! But these are magic beans and soon Jack is on a big adventure in the clouds.
