Luan Goldie‘s ‘thunderingly awesome’ (Ryan Hammond) children’s book debut, Skylar and the K-Pop Headteacher, has won The Weald Book Award.
Ten schools associated with The Weald Community School were involved in the selection process, in which 120 year 6 and 115 year 7 students read six books as part of a weekly book club. This is a fantastic achievement and shows just how much Luan’s work resonates with the younger generation.
Congratulations, Luan!
