Ruth Ware‘s riveting thriller One by One has featured in a number of “Best-of” round ups.

In a Good Housekeeping round-up of ‘The Best Audiobooks to Listen to in 2022‘, Marisa Lascala and Lizz Schumer write: “Does getting snowed in at a remote ski resort with your coworkers sound like your worst nightmare? Oh don’t worry, it could get so much worse. And it does, in this gripping suspense by mistress of horror Ruth Ware. You’ll want to hold your breath all the way to the shocking end.”

One by One also featured in two CrimeReads pieces. In ‘Modern Murder Inn: The New Wave of Hotel Thrillers and Mysteries’, Carolyne Topdjian writes:

Ruth was also named as one of author Kristen Bird’s five favourite authors in an interview with Shelf Awareness, for the way in which she “builds eerie and captivating settings (the poison garden in The Turn of the Key!).”
