Luan Goldie‘s “funny feel-good tale” (Kirkus) Skylar and the K-Pop Headteacher has been included in the Reading Agency’s ‘Read to the Beat’ Summer 2026 challenge.

This theme aims to encourage children to “explore the connection between stories and songs, discovering how reading and music both ignite imagination and creativity.”

To be recognised by this initiative, powered by Universal Music Group UK, and be included in the 55 titles offered to young readers is no small accomplishment.
