The review finishes with a challenge to the reader which we can only echo: ‘Seriously. Try to resist that book.’ It seems that for the mummies who matter, Tracey’s dinosaur tale is truly irresistible.

US magazine Kirkus seconds this praise, noting in particular the ‘considerable child appeal’ of ‘this winning tale’. The reviewer enjoyed‘exciting episodes of dramatic play’ which are sure to ‘entertain young readers’.
