Steven Quincey0-Jones, author of the strikingly original debut middle-grade novel Fishfolk, will be holding a workshop at Eastbourne Literary Festival on Sunday 27th September at 11:00.
The event, which you can find tickets for here, is for children aged 9-12, and will discuss how animal fables have been used for social and political commentary in the past.
All participants will also get the chance to craft their own short, funny or rude fable by the end of the workshop.
Interested in reading Steven’s lauded animal fable for yourself? Fishfolk, shortlisted for the Wainwright Prize 2025 is available in paperback now.
