Born and raised in Hong Kong, Karen Law started her Instagram account @daigasikfaan in 2021 to reconnect with home through food. Now based in London, she shares easy and nostalgic Cantonese recipes inspired by the dishes she grew up eating. “Dai ga sik faan” (大家食飯) means “everyone, let’s eat!” – a phrase that captures the warmth of gathering over a meal. Through her recipes, Karen hopes to bring a taste of home to the Cantonese diaspora and share the comfort of home cooking with everyone.
