Fontana Wins Paul Cooper's Roamers after Four-Hour Pre-Empt

UK and Commonwealth rights excluding Canada to Roamers, Sunday Times-bestselling author Paul Cooper‘s return to historical fiction, have been won by Rosanna Forte at Fontana, William Collins’ new upmarket commercial fiction imprint.

Publishing Director Rosanna Forte praised Cooper’s novel for its immersive quality:

“I already knew Paul as a brilliant narrator of history, so as soon as his novel landed in my inbox I was intrigued. I opened the manuscript straight away and didn’t surface for air until I’d finished it a few hours later.”

Details of the acquisition can be read here by subscribers of The Bookseller.
