Suad Kamardeen is an award-winning writer and editor, dedicated to portraying the lives and cultures of Black Muslim girls and women. She is currently pursuing a MSt in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford. Her YA novel, Never Enough, won the SI Leeds Literary Prize 2022, and her adult novel was shortlisted for the Stylist Prize for Feminist Fiction in 2021. Suad’s work has appeared in Rowayat, Sapelo Square, Bad Form Review, and The Unheard Stories Anthology. She also leads Qalb Writers Collective, supporting Black and Muslim writers. Currently, she’s revising her YA novel and working on a short story collection.
