Susanna started creating in the kitchen aged six – her mother still has a collection of recipe cards for signature dishes ‘mufti’ and ‘umbrella day’. Her passion for experimentation resulted in her studying to become a scientist – she has a BA in Colour & Polymer Chemistry. Today, taking her education out of the laboratory and back into the kitchen, Susanna’s cooking is as inventive as it is delicious.

A former Guardian recipe columnist and a member of the Guild of Food Writers, when not creating recipes Susanna works as a magazine editor. She lives in Bedfordshire with her husband and children.
