News  ·  Iona Rangeley Writes on Kindness Lessons in Einstein the Penguin

Iona Rangeley, whose fantastically funny new children’s book Einstein the Penguin: The Case of the Fishy Detective is available now, has written a guest post for the Books for Topics blog on ‘Lessons in Kindness from Einstein the Penguin‘.

The blog describes Iona’s Einstein the Penguin series as “an enjoyable mix of whodunnit and a hilarious story of a penguin who comes to live with two children, causing them to put aside their sibling squabbles and come to his rescue.”

In the blog post, which you can read in full here, Iona discusses her inspirations behind the series, the stories’ themes, and the kindness lessons that children can take from her books. Iona writes: “it’s important for children to see kindness not just as an obligation but as a path to the adventures that come with meeting new people and making new connections.”

Einstein the Penguin is out now. Grab your copy here or, better, via your local bookshop or Bookshop.org.
