Award-winning duo, children’s author Tracey Corderoy and illustrator Steven Lenton, will be taking part in a special Shifty & Sam-themed event on Sunday 25th September as part of the Bath Children’s Literature Festival 2022, following the release of their swashbuckling pirate adventure Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam: Pirates Ahoy!.

The event, ‘A Pirate Adventure with Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam!’, begins at 2pm at The Guildhall and is open for children ages 3+. For more information, including how to book your tickets, see here.

Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam, two dogs who left a life of crime for a calmer career in cupcakes, return for a swashbuckling pirate adventure in their latest picture book! Tracey Corderoy’s clever rhymes provoke laughter and silliness, while Steven Lenton’s whimsical, quirky illustrations keep readers glued to the page. This talented duo brings their stories to life with an interactive storytelling and live illustration event, giving kids a chance to draw, play and sing their way through these fun-filled books.
