Netflix has announced that Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean; Pride and Prejudice; The Imitation Game) will star in a film adaptation of The Woman in Cabin 10, the “beloved” #1 New York Times bestseller by crime and thriller author Ruth Ware.

“Bust out the Dramamine and brace for PTSD. Keira Knightley is on board to lead a film adaption of Ruth Ware’s bestselling novel The Woman in Cabin 10 at Netflix…

Ware’s book is beloved, and marks a juicy protagonist role for Academy Award nominee Knightley. The film will be directed by Simon Stone… Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse wrote the script for Cabin 10, on which director Stone also took a pass.”
