Congratulations to Yvvette Edwards, who has been nominated for the 44th annual NAACP awards for the Booker long-listed A Cupboard Full of Coats…

…The NAACP Image Awards celebrate the accomplishments of people of colour in the fields of television, music, literature and film and also honour individuals or groups who promote social justice through creative endeavors. Winners will be announced during a two-hour star-studded event, which will air live on Friday 1st February on American TV station NBC.

This is the fourth prestigious award nomination for this oustanding debut novel.
