The It Girl, the new murder mystery thriller by New York Times-bestselling author Ruth Ware, has featured in a Goodreads article of their readers’ ‘Most Anticipated Books of Summer’.
In the blogpost, which you can read in full here, Cybil writes:
“British author Ruth Ware works in the high classic mystery style of golden age crime writers like Agatha Christie, Josephine Tey, and Dorothy L. Sayers. Her new whodunit begins in the tony environs of Oxford University, where vivacious young student April Clarke-Cliveden is murdered. Ten years later, her friend Hannah Jones discovers that the convicted killer may have been innocent all along.”
The It Girl also featured in a St. Louis Post-Dispatch summer reading round-up of ‘hot reads for summer’. In the article, which you can read here, Jane Henderson writes:
“The popular British author’s new mystery concerns a group of Oxford friends, including a vivacious ‘It Girl’ who is murdered. Ten years later, one of the group realizes that the man convicted of the murder likely wasn’t guilty after all. ”
The It Girl will be released in the US on 12th July and in the UK on 4th August. You can pre-order your US copy here, and your UK copy here.
