“The Scottish Poetry Library’s Online Guide to Scottish Poets is the world’s primary resource for anyone researching Scottish poets online. Almost 1,000 Scottish poets are now included. Each year, we put an open call out for nominations from the Scottish public. An independent panel of contemporary Scottish poets and publishers then select those to include – both past and present. The SPL has traditionally applied ‘Scottish’ in an inclusive sense, for example, by birth, residency or heritage.”
