James Norbury, bestselling author-illustrator of Big Panda and Tiny Dragon and The Journey and the forthcoming The Cat Who Taught Zen, has featured in a Guardian exclusive about how he is using his success to set up an animal sanctuary in his hometown of Swansea.

The sanctuary is in a five-storey Victorian townhouse currently undergoing renovation and will also offer everything from courses on meditation to vegan cookery.
