Jennifer Rinkoff, fourth-generation Rinkoff baker and Head of New Product Development at London’s popular Jewish family-run bakery, has been featured in a Vittles article exploring the “ever-changing role” of the Rinkoffs Bakery in the East End.
In the article, which you can read in full here, Adrienne Katz Kennedy explores Rinkoffs’ history, including the family and community members who built the bakery, its variety of bakes and evolving clientele, and how the Rinkoff family is continuing to preserve its traditions and memories while looking ahead to the future.
“Although it has long since moved on from only serving Ashkenazi-rooted breads and is today better known for its ‘crodough’, cookies, Danish pastries, cheesecake and other culture-agnostic bakes, the past lives of Rinkoff Bakery are never far away.”
